Team Leader
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, in office.
Pay: $18.40 - $20 / hr

Our need is for a Team Leader to join our new AbilityOne Base Supply Center at our DIA, DC location. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a close-knit group, in a team based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist management to coach and mentor store associates and foster customer rapport.
- Market & maintain specialized customer accounts.
- Greet Customers and Assist Customers with product selections to exceed customer expectations.
- Perform receiving, inspecting and unloading deliveries.
- Process receipts, invoices, and releases
- Staging and preparing shipments.
- Verify and load products onto delivery trucks.
- Operate a computerized Point of Sale System.
- Perform register functions and take customer orders via all methods available.
- Accept/Handle orders and/or special-order requests and prepare written proposals/quotes.
- Pull and assemble customer orders for pickup/delivery.
- Complete documents as required ensuring error-free for quality control purposes
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment, i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and retail store.
- Assist with delivery functions as needed.
- Assist with product purchasing functions for both inventory stocking and special-order requirements as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum Attendance Required: 100%
- Basic reading, math and computer skills.
- Must be proficient in keyboards, computers, MS Office, Retail and Inventory Mgt Systems and Internet.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately read, interpret and transpose documents for data entry and customer use.

- Must be proactive, energetic, enthusiastic, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- May routinely lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- May work in an environment of temperature extremes.
- Is required to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must possess and maintain a forklift operator’s safety training certificate (if applicable).
- Must have valid Driver’s License 2 or less points.
